Can't access a QR code or organization

If you cannot access a QR code or organization, first confirm that you are signed in with the account that belongs to the organization. Many access issues come from using a different email address or sign-in provider.

Check the account you used to sign in

Sign out and sign back in with the email address that was invited to the organization. If you use Google, email, or another sign-in provider, make sure you choose the same method tied to your QRSurge account.

If you have multiple work or personal emails, check each one before assuming the QR code is missing.

Switch to the correct organization

QR codes belong to organizations. If you belong to more than one organization, switch to the organization where the QR code was created.

Also check the organization URL or slug if someone sent you a direct dashboard link.

Accept or request a team invitation

If you were invited to an organization, open the invitation and accept it with the invited email address. Pending, revoked, or expired team invitations can prevent access.

If the invitation no longer works, ask an organization admin to send a new invite from Organization settings > Members.

Check whether access changed

An admin may have removed your membership, changed your role, or deleted an invitation. If you previously had access and no longer do, ask an organization admin to confirm your membership and role.

Your role can affect what you can view or change inside the organization.

Check archived or deleted QR codes

If you can access the organization but cannot find a QR code, open Manage and check:

  • Filters and search terms
  • The QR code status
  • The selected folder and organization

The QR code may be archived, deleted, or filtered out. It may also be located in a different folder or organization.
